IT Support, 24th April 2019As part of our on-going commitment to innovation and really listening to our customers, we’ve recently launched a pop up vending concept to help promote healthy eating, healthy lifestyle choices and offer an on-the-go balanced diet alternative. This move towards healthy snacking has enabled us to partner with some new and up-coming brands. In our healthy vending machine you will find a range of bite size, grab and go snacks, as well as energising drinks.
Zero sugar drinks
We have partnered with four pioneering beverage brands, to bring a mix of drinks that with excite the taste buds while making positive contributions to society and the environment. A brand that encompasses this is Life Water which is a zero plastic solution to the everyday. The innovative packaging also helps fund clean water projects across the globe by working with drop4drop.org. Life Water helps to make clean water accessible in villages all over the world. We also have a flavoured water brand – Virtue, they cleverly use natural caffeine sources to create canned water that holds the same amount of natural caffeine as a cup of coffee. They use yerba mate, which amazingly contains more antioxidants than green tea!
GetMoreVits is also featured in the vending machine, they focus on bringing consumers targeted vitamin beverages with delicious flavours in both sparkling and still options. The Vitamin B – apple & raspberry flavour is perfect for busy shoppers as it helps turn your food into energy. The bottle is full of B6 & B12 that also tackle tiredness to keep you on your feet for longer! Ugly Drinks bring you a range of great alternatives to traditionally sweetened fizzy drinks. No sugar, no sweeteners, no calories and absolutely nothing artificial. Their bright packaging and clear vision has made them one of the brands to watch in 2019! There are two of their delicious flavours in our vending machine to choose from – Triple Berry and Lemon & Lime.
Snacks under 150 calories
Pure Bite’s rice, nut and coconut baked clusters stand out amongst the rest for their delicious flavourings, such as Strawberry and Goji Berries. Goji Berries are high in antioxidants that boost energy and promote glowing skin to keep you looking and feeling your best. Eat Real base their products on three very simple concepts; taste, nutrition & real ingredients. Their super grain snacks are also gluten free and suitable for vegans. The Hummus and Lentil Chips slowly release energy to keep you focused on your shopping wish list. Alpen, a house hold favourite, are the perfect choice if you want to feel indulgent but stay on track with their Salted Caramel Bar being only 70 Kcals!

The vending machine will begin its tour of the UK at Nottingham University before moving onto a variety of other universities and hospital sites throughout the year. The vending machine will stay at each location for between 6 to 8 weeks before moving to its next destination.
